Chance for business owners to grill Delyn Parliamentary hopefuls over breakfast

Business people in Mold have a chance to quiz local politicians face to face in the run up to this year’s general election.
Mold Business Forum is inviting people to attend an open breakfast meeting during which politicians from the Delyn constituency, which includes Mold, will be asked about issues of the moment.
The ticket-only event will be similar in format to television’s Question Time programme, with a chairman and a panel of guests who will answer questions from the audience.
On the panel will be Delyn’s Labour MP David Hanson, the Conservative Party prospective parliamentary candidate (PPC), Antoinette Sandbach, and the LibDem PPC, Bill Brereton. Plaid Cymru is also hoping to field a representative.
The event at the Beaufort Park Hotel, New Brighton, near Mold, is the first of a series of activities planned by Mold Business Forum for 2010.
Companies that join the forum also get inclusive membership of North Wales Chamber of Commerce.
The Question Time event will be on Friday, February 12, from 7.30am-9.30am. Tickets are £5 for forum members and £8 for non-members, and this includes a light breakfast, tea, coffee and fruit juice.
The forum has also announced its second event of 2010, which will be an insight into the role and business approach of national retailers in market towns by Rob Halsall, manager of Tesco, Mold. It will take place on Tuesday, April 13, from 6.15-8.15pm in Tesco’s on site restaurant.
Numbers are strictly limited for both events, so it is advisable to reserve your place early. To book places or for more information on membership contact chairman Martin Jones on 01352 752632 or email info@moldbusinessforum.org.uk or contact Matthew Jensen at the Chamber of Commerce on 01244 669988.
    Ends

Mold Business Forum, which aims to represent the interests of large and small businesses in and around the town, was re-launched in 2009 to provide a platform for them to speak with a single voice on local and topical issues.
    Annual membership starts from £80.
